What eFreedom collects through this website, what it does not, and how to reach a person about it.
This policy covers efreedom.com, operated by eFreedom LLC, a company in Silicon Valley, California. It describes what the site collects, why, and who else touches it.
Scope
This policy applies to this website. It does not cover ERIKA, which is in development and not available to the public, and it does not cover any other company's site this one links to.
The company is eFreedom LLC. The contact for anything in this policy is info@efreedom.com.
What we collect
This site does not run analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party scripts that profile visitors. There is no account to create and nothing to log into.
Information reaches us in two ways:
- Email you send us. The links and the sign-up field on this site open a message in your own mail application with the address and subject already filled in. Nothing is transmitted until you press send in your own mail client. If you send it, we receive your email address and whatever you wrote.
- Server request data. This site is served through Cloudflare. Like any web host, it processes the technical details of a request, including IP address, browser user agent, and the page requested, in order to deliver the page and to block abuse.
- Text messages you send us. If you text +1 313-454-5837 we receive your phone number and what you wrote. We receive it because you sent it; nothing on this site collects a phone number.
How we use it
Email you send is used to reply to you and, if you asked to be told when we ship something, to send you that. Server request data is used to serve the site, keep it up, and stop abuse. We do not sell information about visitors and we do not run advertising off it.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own and stores nothing in your browser for tracking. Cloudflare may set a cookie strictly to detect abusive traffic and keep the site available. There is nothing here to opt out of because there is no profiling to opt out of.
Text messaging
eFreedom runs one text message program, eFreedom Customer Care, on +1 313-454-5837. It is inbound only. Your number reaches us because you sent a message from it, and we reply in that conversation. eFreedom does not text people who have not texted first, there is no list to join, and no form on this site collects a phone number.
What we hold is your phone number and the content of the messages you sent. It is used to answer you and for nothing else. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Sharing
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Information is handled on our behalf by the services that run this company's basic infrastructure: Cloudflare, which serves the site, Google Workspace, which receives and stores email sent to our addresses, and Telnyx, which carries text messages to and from +1 313-454-5837. They act as providers to us, not on their own account.
We will disclose information if the law requires it.
Retention
Email is kept in our mailbox for as long as the correspondence is useful and is deleted on request. Server request data is kept for the short period our provider retains logs, which is measured in days, not years.
Your rights
Write to info@efreedom.com and ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. We will do it. Depending on where you live, California and EU law give you these rights explicitly; we apply them to everyone rather than sorting people by jurisdiction.
We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising them.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS only. The practical protection here comes from collecting very little in the first place: there is no visitor database, no account system, and no stored payment information.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes will be described here rather than made silently.
