b) Improve and Adjust
You can assign duties and tasks but what you cannot let go of is your ultimate
responsibility for the right outcome.
Action for success:
If you delegate what you are not good at, you will be left with the tasks you enjoy most
and you do well at. How enjoyable would life become then? And as abonus more will get
done with less stress and hassles.
Delegating is an art and a science that helps people and organizations grow. The
challenge often is many leaders refuse to ask for help or assign for fear of losing control
or appearing ignorant of some tasks.
You can get a lot more done and have a lot more fun if you do not worry about who gets
the credit especially when you are in control of the process and the proceeds.
Choose the right people to grow with you and reward them based on the results they
bring. If you do that well enough and long enough, you will be free and will create a great
organization in the process with lots of personal growth and professional contribution.
